BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Based on the remarkable life of Nobel Peace Prize winner
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Emmy® award-winning*
miniseries King debuts as a two-disc DVD set January 11th

1978, the “astute and compelling” (Variety) biographical
miniseries, starring Paul Winfield (Roots), Cicely Tyson
(“The Rosa Parks Story”), Ossie Davis (Bubba Ho-Tep),
Tony Bennett and King’s daughter Yolanda King, takes an
intimate look at one of the world’s most public heroes during
one of the most tumultuous times in American history, from
his meager beginnings as a Southern Baptist minister
through his brutal assassination in 1968.
